Terrapin has been with Solevo since the end of April, just after 4/20, shortly after they officially opened their first growing and processing facility in Pennsylvania, located in South Avis in Clinton County. However, Terrapin’s official roots are in Boulder, Colorado. They were founded in 2009 and hold the first retail marijuana licenses in both Boulder and Aurora, Colorado. The company has expanded to five stores in Colorado, with goals of expanding even more in the future. Terrapin also operates a retail marijuana cultivation facility in Eugene, Oregon, with plans to also open a storefront there in the near future.
Moxie by PurePenn has been with Solevo since mid-April, on 4/20, when they officially launched. The PurePenn growing and processing facility is located in McKeesport, PA. However, Moxie was founded in 2015. Moxie has won more than 70 company awards since its founding and has expanded to markets in California, Michigan, and Nevada and are proud job creators in this growing industry. The Moxie team believes that through their genetics, forward-thinking manufacturing processes, commitment to education, and dedication to professionalism, they can provide top of the line products and care to patients in need as well as create employment opportunities within the medical marijuana community.
In June 2017, Prime Wellness was one of the first 12 companies licensed to grow and process medical marijuana in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The “prime” family of medical marijuana products have been available at Solevo Wellness since late August 2018.
FARMACEUTICALRX joined Solevo Wellness at the beginning of May 2020. FARMACEUTICALRX received their grower/processor license in March 2019 and were fully operational in September 2019. They are based in Farrell, PA and operate out of a renovated steel mill.
Calypso Enterprises has been with Solevo Wellness since the end of December 2019, just in time for the new year and decade. Based in Erie, Pennsylvania, Calypso received their grower/processor license in July 2018 and were approved by the Department of Health in June 2019.
Green Leaf Medical, otherwise known as “gLeaf”, began providing medical marijuana products to Solevo Wellness soon after their products became available in the PA market in October 2019. We’re excited that our expanding number of grower processors providing products to our dispensary has grown by another amazing member! Green Leaf Medical is originally based in Frederick, Maryland and was established in 2014. Though they’re based in Maryland, the company has expanded across states and is excited to now serve patients in Pennsylvania. Their 100,000 square foot PA facility is located in Bedford County and houses more than 200 genetics along with a state-of-the-art extraction lab.
Grassroots Cannabis has been with Solevo Wellness since Spring 2019, and we’re proud to have them as another addition to our expanding number of grower processors providing products to our dispensary. Grassroots was founded in 2014, and their products hit the Pennsylvania market in 2019. Grassroots Cannabis HQ is located in Chicago, IL. The company has grow and manufacturing operations in Chambersburg, as well as Illinois and Maryland. In addition, they operate dispensaries in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Ohio.
Vireo was founded in Minnesota in 2014, where it operates vertically from the grow to dispensing of medical marijuana. The company also operates in this manner for the state of New York. Whereas in Pennsylvania and Maryland, Vireo distributes its products through third party dispensaries like Solevo Wellness. In PA, the Vireo facility operates in Scranton. We’re excited to have Vireo as an addition to our expanding number of grower processors providing products to our dispensary.
Ilera Healthcare has been with Solevo Wellness since mid-January, and we’re proud to have them as the newest addition to our expanding number of grower processors providing products to our dispensary. Ilera Healthcare was founded in 2016. Their cultivation facility is based in Waterfall, PA, and they also have a dispensary based in Plymouth Meeting, PA, with plans to open additional Ilera dispensaries in the future.
Standard Farms has been with Solevo since mid-March 2018 and was the second grower to start shipping to us, helping to steadily increase our supply of medical products. Standard Farms is based in the small town of White Haven in Northeast PA, with a small population of about 1,000 people. Standard Farms has been established since mid-2017 just prior to the medical marijuana permit grant in Pennsylvania.
Cresco was with Solevo from when we first opened our doors on February 15th, 2018. At that point, Cresco was the only grower approved by the state and all of our medical products were from Cresco.
Green Thumb Industries (GTI) has been with Solevo since the first week of June, and they’ve helped us keep larger and steadier inventory levels for our patients. GTI is a national cannabis cultivator, processor, and dispensary operator. Their Pennsylvania operations are based in Danville; however, the company is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. GTI was established in 2014 and has seven manufacturing facilities and licenses for 50 retail locations across seven highly regulated U.S. markets. They’re dedicated to providing dignified access to safe and effective cannabis nationwide while giving back to the communities in which they serve. The company also owns and operates a rapidly growing national chain of retail cannabis stores called RISE™ dispensaries.
