About Organic Remedies

The Organic Remedies 250,000 square foot state-of-the-art cultivation and research facility is located in the heart of southcentral Pennsylvania. They began their operations with one dispensary in February of 2018 and now have three dispensaries in Pennsylvania.

With the award of a clinical research permit, Organic Remedies began their grower-processor operation in 2020. They planted their first crops using established organic growing practices in the summer of 2020, and their first harvest came in the fall that same year.

We asked the Organic Remedies team what inspired them to get into the business. Here’s what they had to say:

“Founders Mark Toigo, Jaime Toigo, Ryan Simpson and Eric Hauser were focused on achieving a shared vision to advance the therapeutic value of medical marijuana and empower patients in improving their quality of life. Together, they built a passionate team of talented professionals who are working to realize their vision of providing affordable, high quality medical marijuana to Pennsylvania patients.”

Organic Remedies’ Specialty

Organic Remedies is cultivating dozens of high quality, therapeutic cannabis strains and are continuously working to identify new strains and cannabinoids that promote positive health outcomes for individuals.

From these quality strains, their talented Chief Science Officer Mark June Wells is manufacturing specialty products that are getting rave reviews from patients, including their topical balm that is formulated with cannabinoids and essential oils. Menthol and capsicum are added to provide cooling and warming effects, respectively.

Organic Remedies were the first in the state to offer another specialty item, their Elixirs. These are formulated with their proprietary water-based nano-emulsion technology, free of coconut oil and ethyl alcohol. These water-based products have enhanced bioavailability and are available in four flavors: watermelon, wild strawberry, grape, and POG (Passion Fruit, Orange, Guava).

Organic Remedies are also very proud of their Rest tincture. This tincture is not strain specific and is enriched with the essential oils of cassia (similar to cinnamon) and clove. Rest tincture is enhanced with a proprietary blend of terpenes that promote non-REM sleep cycle health and diminished inflammation. In the near future, they will extend this product line to include Relief and Active tinctures. These tinctures are engineered with specific cannabinoid ratios and individual terpenes that contemporary research suggests are effective therapies for broadly defined class ailments.

“Our chief science officer is always formulating new products, and we are looking to launch several unique forms of concentrates, formulated tinctures, and tablets and capsules created using our proprietary nano emulsion technology for better absorption rates.”

Organic Remedies’ Commitment to Quality

Organic Remedies’ extraction laboratory is designed to mirror cGMP facilities common to the pharmaceutical industry. Product safety and quality are of the utmost importance. We leverage good science and safety protocols, resulting in products of the highest quality and efficacy.
