Announcing a Loyalty Program Change Effective Next Week
Dear Solevo Patients and Caregivers,
This fall, we’ve been really excited to introduce some new changes to our dispensary. Some changes are technical in nature, like a new menu format that makes it easier to see cannabinoid content and terpene info for the products we stock. Some of those changes are related to our prices, like everyday lower pricing on select medical items. Some changes are still in progress, such as electronic, in-dispensary ordering that we expect to roll out in early 2020. At each step of the way, we’ve felt grateful for the feedback and perspective from you, our patients, along the way. Thank you.
With all of that said, we’ve found that one of those new changes has been at odds with the current version of the dispensary loyalty program, that we had introduced earlier in the fall. Unfortunately, we’ve found that the combination of one specific program offer (the $20 off coupon earned for every $200 spent) is quite challenging to provide in combination with the everyday lower prices. We’ve come to the difficult realization that we need to make a change to continue to operate the kind of medically-focused dispensaries that we aspire to. This includes things like the new heaters that are currently being installed at our Squirrel Hill and Cranberry area dispensaries (please see below for examples of some feedback we heard on this from our patient feedback survey!).
That’s why we’ve come to the difficult decision to discontinue the current $20 off coupon for every $200 spent. This change will allow us to continue with the everyday lower prices we introduced. Instead of the current coupon savings, the loyalty program will be used to earn points that can be redeemed for batteries and other accessories. We know this may be frustrating and disappointing news, and for that we apologize.
So that any interested patients can still take advantage of the current version of the loyalty program, we’re going to continue without any changes through the end of next week (Saturday, 12/21). The everyday lower menu prices will continue without any changes. At that time, we’ll continue with an updated loyalty program without the $20 coupon vouchers for $200 spent. We also hope to be able to introduce some new elements as we continue to work towards offering the best prices and the best service that we can in a medically-focused environment.
Thank you. It’s our privilege to be able to work with you as our patients.
