Industry Expertise:
Christine has had a wealth of experience in several different retail settings as both a staff pharmacist and pharmacy manager. Christine serves as a clinical pharmacist for Solevo Wellness – a multi-location
medical marijuana dispensary in Pittsburgh, PA where she consults with patients on a daily basis. She also explored the mail order pharmacy business again working as both a staff pharmacist and in a supervisory role. Through these various roles she realized her strengths and passions lie in organization and workflow improvements and in patient counseling.
Medical Marijuana Advocacy:
She was attracted to the medical marijuana industry for several reasons. The first being that she has a few close friends and family members who have had life changing experiences thanks to MMJ. Secondly, in her job as a retail pharmacist she was seeing first-hand the negative effects the opioid crisis has on both patients and their loved ones and she realized MMJ can play an important role in managing this issue. Finally, as a pharmacist her primary goals have always been to improve her patients’ health and quality of life. Medical Marijuana allows her to fulfill these goals and provide alternative treatments for patients not getting relief from traditional medicine.
Licensing and Certification:
Christine is licensed through the
Pennsylvania Department of State and is a certified medical marijuana practitioner through the
Pennsylvania Department of Health.
